“Teton Dam Mudslide" is an 11 ft. fabric mural created by our volunteer, Amy Clements.

On view at:

Rexburg City Hall
Mon-Thu: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm,
Fri: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
(Rexburg, Idaho)

Amy was commissioned to create this fabric mural to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Teton Dam Disaster June 5, 1976.
As you'll see in the video, this mural was hand-stitched with many vintage pieces of fabric from the 1970s. It depicts the dam breaking, causing massive flooding as 80 billion gallons of water was released into the lowlands.
